TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND NOTES
IMPORTANT NOTES
· Once an order is received, it cannot be cancelled or altered for any reason. Please ensure all measurements and specifications are correct.
· When ordering, please specify clearly whether the measurement is overall (end of finial to end of finial) or pole length only.
· Please specify clearly whether the measurements are metric or imperial.
· All MTM orders are final and cannot be amended or cancelled once production has commenced.
· We strongly advise all customers not to pre-book any fitters or tradespersons to install your work until you have received and checked the goods and fittings to ensure they are correct - which must be done within 3 days of receipt. Any dates given verbally or by email are strictly provisional and will not be deemed as guaranteed delivery dates. We will not accept any responsibility for any costs etc incurred if you do not follow this advice.
· Orders below £85.00 will be subject to a £10.00 surcharge towards administration and delivery costs. Orders for broken pack quantities will be charged at broken pack price.
· Any shortages, damage or discrepancies must be notified to the company within 3 days of receipt. Credit/replacement goods will not be considered after this period.
· Claims in respect of damaged to the goods during transit must be given to the carrier in writing (either that or on the carriers delivery note) within 3 days of receipt of goods. Claims for non-delivery must be given similarly, within 14 days from date of dispatch. If any product is found to be defective, we will replace that item but we will not be held liable for any other claim.
· No goods will be accepted for credit unless consent has been obtained from Hunter & Hyland Ltd. These goods - upon our discretion - will be subject to a handling charge of 15% for stock articles. Under
no circumstances will goods specially produced to customers instructions be accepted back for credit.

GENERAL NOTES FOR WOODEN PRODUCTS
· The large majority of timber used by Hunter & Hyland is farmed from managed plantations and at least 90% of all of our timber is of PEFC or FSC standard.
· We create poles in various woods, primarily focusing on hyland, ash and oak varieties. The different timbers used by Hunter & Hyland will react in different ways to staining, therefore colour variations may occur. Colour variation may also occur with the same wood type, due to different batches of wood being naturally lighter or darker, or due to the grain being tighter or wider. Although every effort will be made to minimise colour variation, we are unable
to guarantee a perfect match every time. Actual colours may vary slightly from those shown in the catalogue due to limitations in the printing process.
NOTES FOR ANGLED OR SWEPT TRACKS
· Please supply all the measurements requested in the instructive diagrams on page 91, including angle measures and cross measures.
· Please state if measures are wall size or track size.
· For swept bays, please supply a template.
NOTES FOR WROUGHT IRON BAY POLES
· All wrought iron poles can be made to angles or swept for bay windows.
· Angle bends will have a 152mm (6”) centre line radius.
· Please supply all the measurements requested in the instructive diagrams on page 91, including angle measures and cross measures.
· Please state if measures are wall size or pole size. · For swept bays, please supply a template.
